This one used to carry horses.
The whole salon lives inside an old timber horse float, stripped back and fitted out properly: lined walls, a deep bath, a hydraulic table that drops to the ground, strip lighting overhead and a tailgate that folds down into a ramp laid with artificial grass.
It sounds like a novelty until you watch a dog use it. There is no lifting onto a bench and no being carried through a busy shopfront past other dogs. Yours walks itself up the ramp, into a small quiet space with one person in it, and the appointment starts calmly. For a nervous dog that is most of the battle.

What your dog gets
Every dog is booked in individually and the appointment is built around what that coat and that temperament actually need. Give Liam a ring or a text and tell him the breed, the coat and anything he should know, and he will tell you what it needs and what it comes to.
Nail trims
Book a nail cut on its own or add it to a groom. Handy if your dog only needs a tidy up between full appointments.
Nervous and particular dogs
Some dogs find grooming hard. Liam is patient with them, works slowly, and lets them settle before anything starts. Several regulars came here after their dog struggled somewhere else.
Puppy first grooms
A gentle introduction so the clippers, the dryer and the table stop being frightening. Getting the first one right makes every groom after it easier.
Finishing touches
A bow or a bandana at the end if you would like one. Small thing, but it is usually the bit that makes the photo when your dog gets home.

Your dog is handled by Liam and nobody else. No rotating staff, no handing over halfway, which is exactly why so many clients have stayed with him across three different locations.
Prices depend on the dog, the coat and how much work it needs, so Liam quotes them himself rather than posting a list. A text with your breed gets you an answer.

Liam has been grooming around the Fleurieu and southern suburbs for years, first at Seaford, then Hayborough, and now from the float at Hindmarsh Island. A good number of his clients have simply followed him each time he has moved.
One family tried a different groomer when he relocated, lasted a single visit, then rang him and asked to come back. Another has had their Labradoodle done by him for over two years. That is the whole pitch really: when a groomer is the reason people drive further, you do not need to say much else.
He is patient with the dogs that make it hard work, which is the part that keeps coming up in reviews more than anything about the haircut itself.
